A career of firsts.
A Dallas native, Dr. Fitzgerald began at the University of Texas at Austin before graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1985. He became one of the first dentists in Dallas to place porcelain veneers—an early sign of a career defined by what comes next.
His peers named him Young Dentist of the Year in 1996, and he served as President of the Dallas County Dental Society from 2001 to 2002. He became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 2006, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology in 2013, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in 2014. D Magazine has named him a Best Dentist in Cosmetic Dentistry every year from 2003 through 2026 — 23 consecutive years.
His practice grew into FORTE—Fitzgerald Oral Rehabilitation Treatment & Education—with a complete in-house dental laboratory where surgical precision and restorative artistry meet under one roof.
